ABOUT
Mike Coleman is a visual artist and art educationalist. Born in London he studied at Nottingham, Trent University and Goldsmiths, University of London. He has exhibited his work at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours at The Mall Galleries, The Camden Arts Centre and with The London Group at The Royal College of Art and the Barbican.
He did his teaching practice at Wimbledon School of Art and has taught in four schools and three colleges. Between 1997 and 2017 he was Head of Art at Box Hill School in Surrey where he was a sixth form tutor and taught art across the age range of the school including GCSE, A level and the International Baccalaureate.
